EXCELJUTA can offer a full technical, financial and commercial team to either lead the development or to supplement in house development teams. Ad-hoc development and advisory services can also be provided, be that for a PPA negotiation, management of EPC tender process, securing an O&M entity, financial advisory on securing debt/equity, modeling, strategy/scheduling, fuel supply, market analysis etc.
We can assist in the securing of third party advisers and manage advisors accordingly as well as working in parallel with the legal, technical, environmental, tax and accounting companies required. In respect to pre-development we have been responsible for a host of concept, pre- feasibility and feasibility studies for the generation and transmission sectors.
The team has extensive experience in developing coal and gas fired generating assets, renewable schemes in the form of wind, solar, biomass and hydro as well as electrical transmission and distribution projects. This includes the securing of offtake agreements, EPC/EPCM contracts, O&M, fuel supply (including logistic studies) and the management of approval processes prior and in parallel to securing debt and equity.
EXCELJUTA provides the full range of financial advisory services, often as part of our wider commercial and technical mandates. This includes input into /development of third party consultants, project documents, financial modeling, financial structuring, debt arrangement and negotiation. We utilize ex bank project finance staff from our HK office but complement that with our other Directors and consultants to provide teams with fully rounded sponsor, government and technical experience.
As in our other practices, we provide a strong culture of project management.
Our Directors retain excellent connections with providers of liquidity on the debt (banks, institutions and export credit agencies) and equity side.
EXCELJUTA utilizes the services of up to 40 technical specialists who are mostly ex International Power, RWE and EoN engineers. The engineering team covers all engineering disciplines associated with the power sector (civil, mechanical, boiler/turbine/generator, electrical, C&I, water, coal, gas and renewables) and is based throughout the UK, SE Asia and Australia.
The team is energy specific and has significant experience not only in project development phase (EPC, Design Review, Performance Forecast etc) but also in operations and management of existing assets.
The company is unique on providing the expertise of operating plant and utilizing this to great effect during project development. The engineering team can form part of the companies development role on a project or provided on an ad-hoc basis during such development, commissioning or operations.
